The Friendly Visiting volunteer program includes several parts.
- Community volunteers are trained and matched with seniors to provide assistance with shopping and personnel correspondence. They also provide companionship for seniors through regular telephone contacts and home visits.
- Three times a year luncheons are held for the clients served through this program, providing socialization for home-bound seniors.
- Group projects, where local organizations such as the Rotary, corporations and churches assist in the clean-up of seniors' homes and yards, have become regular events.
